Swimming Cycling Running.com is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals through teaching you to maintain good technique.

Whether you're looking to finish your first endurance event, planning to tackle an open water triathlon or want to try to qualify for the World Championships in your sport, we have programmes that can help or can individually tailor a plan to bring you to a peak at the right time.

You will often see athletes who use a ragged swimming stroke in an effort to power through the water, or you notice that someone's whole body begins to bounce up and down as they push really hard on each pedal stroke.

You may even hear what sounds like a wet fish coming up behind you, only to find it's a runner slapping their feet with every stride they make. All of these situations - and many more - are indications of wasting energy which translates into losing speed, when what is actually needed is  to do is save energy as we naturally tire.

For everyone the "Next-Step-Up" is always full of doubt and can be anything from simply starting out to run a 5k road race, to stepping up to challenge for

TriMan - Here to help

world class honours. What's important is that it's the next step for you personally, so you're probably entering unknown territory and don't know if you can succeed or not. Planning and analysing your progress will ease your anxieties and help you achieve your goal by ensuring you build from your current level to where you need to be in sensible steps. If you don't plan sensibly you're far more likely to fail through injury, demotivation or through overtraining.

We have lots of free resources for you to use to help you get started and into the right frame of mind to get training. From videos and photographs of experts and beginners to the movement isolation that TriMan (left) enables us to show you, we'll explain everything with both words and pictures. Simply use the menu bar at the top to view videos and any of the more detailed explanations of the technical aspects of a sport.

From there it's simple to plug into one of our monthly plans specifically designed to help novice, intermediate of advanced athletes on the road to achieving their goals.

All of this can be done by email anywhere in the world or we can meet you in the beautiful Cape Verde Islands for a warm weather break at any time of the year.

Although we already have a good range of free resources we are still building parts of the site and will be adding more information all the time, so please check back if we haven't got exactly what you're looking for or email us on a topic and we'll try to be as helpful as possible.

Those of you who have come here looking for Jetstream Triathlon Club can get there by using the link on the right, but why not take a moment to look around SwimmingCyclingRunning.com? We catually have more resources and help for any budding athlete than is currently on the Jetstream web site.
